GAS develops a Wind Prediction Generation Software

March 2012.

Safety Analysis Group members Raphael Quachio, Ítalo Romani de Oliveira and Paulo Sérgio Cugnasca developed a software whose intent is to generate a wind prediction model. The purpose of this software is to randomly generate fields of wind vectors representing the deviation between the predictions from the RUC (Rapid Update Cycle) forecast and real wind observations.

This software is available free of charges to anyone, respected the terms of the Boost license. The download links for the general specification of the software and its source code are available right below.
